He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Gill and Muriel Adell Gill (Jackson); and his brother Kenneth Gill. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Gill (Lue); his children, Mary Presley, Marvin Gill, Jr. (Deborah) and Becky Sheline (James); his grandchildren, Garry Presley, Cody Presley, James Sheline Jr. and Rebekah Sheline; and his siblings, Clayton Gill, Leo Gill, Bruce Gill (Pamela), David Gill and Muriel Lowery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
