He is survived by: his wife Micki (Parsons-Bishop); his sons, Joe Tipton (Diane) of Crooksville and Tom Tipton (Debbie) of Zanesville; his stepsons, Eric Bishop (Carrie) of Chandlersville and Matt Bishop (Andrea) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Joey Tipton (Cori), Brian Tipton, Lynn Tuma (Jamie), Marisa Bishop (Bailey), Nash Bishop (Sierra), Parker Bishop (Livvy), Kayla Richardson (Kyle), Maddy Mackie (Caleb) and Devontay Bishop; his sister Velma Martin (Jim); his sister-in-law Jean Tipton; his sister Kay (Dan Murgatroyd); and his granddaughter Nicole Tipton. He is also survived by Several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
