He was predeceased by: his father John Alan Swope; his son Lamont J. Swope; his grandparents, John, Sandra Gates, Guy Swope and Sarha Spiker; and his uncle Kenneth Taylor.
He is survived by: his mother Diana G. Giroux (Gates); his children, Zoe, Noah and Braxton Swope; his brother John Adam Swope (Crystal); his aunts and uncles, Rickey L. Gates (Diana), Rebecca L. Gates (Keith) and Margret Smith (Ron); and his nieces and nephews, Briana, Boston, Brandon and Blake Swope. He is also survived by several cousins; and a host of other family members and many, many special friends.
