He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Carper (Cole) and John Alexander Carper Sr.; and his daughter Shawn Marie Wagner (Chad). He is survived by: the mother of his children Debra Carper; his sons, Jerome Mayle and Eugene Mayle (Nonie); his grandchildren, Davon Carper-Wagner, Jasmin Wagner, Josh Stevens and Jeremy Gibson; and his siblings, Mildred Holbert of Zanesville, OH, Cheryl Bell of Zanesville, OH, Janet Carper of Columbus, OH, Carol Fields (Mark) of Blacklick, OH, Karen Blakeley of Blacklick, OH, Roger Carper (Chris) of Zanesville, Randy Carper of Zanesville and Richard Carper of Blue Rock, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:40 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:40 PM.
