It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John David Adamik Sr. of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adamik and Susan Adamik (Valentine); his siblings, Marlene Adamik and Joseph R. Adamik, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Goldberg Adamik and Charlie Brewster; and his nephew Scott Brewster.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gerlisky; his sons, John D. Adamik, Jr. (Jamie) and Chad R. Adamik (Thomas Blake); his grandchildren, Steven J. Adamik and Madison Adamik; and his siblings, Kathleen Adamik and Thomas Adamik (Jacquie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, co-workers, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home (203 S Columbus St, Somerset, OH 43783). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's memory to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zanesville, where John and Mary Ann have been members for many years.
