We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 81, John A. Hartzler of Zanesville, Ohio, born in Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl M. Hartzler and Katherine Hartzler (Thoman); and his sister Jenny Mishler. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann (Piotrowski); his sons, Mark Hartzler of Eaton, Steven Hartzler of Zanesville and David Hartzler of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Austin Hartzler (Raegan McGuire), Elizabeth Hartzler, Sarah Hartzler and Ava Hartzler; his great grandchildren, Owen John Hartzler and Willow Mae Hartzler; and his close friends, Tod and Melanie Klotzbach.

Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Zanesville County Club Employee Scholarship Fund c/o Muskingum County Community Foundation, 534 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701.
