He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy; his parents, James "Jim" McFarland and Margarette McFarland (Carpenter); and his sister Judith Quinlan (McFarland). He is survived by: his children, Matt McFarland (Dolores), Mike McFarland (Jocelyn), Mitch McFarland (Tammy), Jana Adams (Bill) and Jason McFarland (Tonya); his siblings, Jean Roessler (McFarland), Jill Grandstaff (McFarland) and Jack McFarland; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Buck (Allison) and Betsie Buck. He is also survived by his five children, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Combs & Nestor Funeral Home (935 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
