With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James E. McHugh of Zanesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McHugh and Nelda Grubaugh McHugh; his father-in-law Ivan (Ione Hoard); his nephew Mark Deterline; and his brother-in-law Ritch Hoard.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hoard McHugh; his children, Mike McHugh (Jackie), Kevin McHugh (Jennifer), Tim McHugh (Ann) and Kelly McHugh; his grandsons, Dakota McHugh (Megan), Mitchell McHugh and Kenny Phillips (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Gavin McHugh, Emma Phillips and Jackson Phillips; his sisters, Lynn Henderson (Austin) and Karen Mathis (John); and his sister-in-law Linda Abbott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
