It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jesse II (Zanesville, Ohio), who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Jesse and Bonnie Jesse (Baker); and his brother-in-law John England. He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Jesse (Doug Thornton); his former wife Carol Jesse (Kennedy); his sisters, Terry England, Deborah Carson (Rodger), Becky Orndorff (Larry) and Cindy Cannon (Delby); and his grandchildren, Paisley Matthews, Maddi Matthews and Roscoe Matthews.
