James Thomas Bishop Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Thomas Bishop (Zanesville, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bishop and Elva Stallings Bishop; his sons, Jeffrey Bishop, Kenneth Bishop and Ronald Bishop; his daughter-in-law Connie; his grandson Shane Carroll; his great grandchild Austin Collopy; and his siblings, Shirley Sills, Wayne Bishop and Glenn Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Morris Bishop; his daughter Donna Miller (James); his siblings, Donald Bishop (Velmalee) and Mary Truelson (Tom); and his grandchildren, Patricia Allen (William), Jennifer Jenkins (Ray), Stephanie Thompson (John), Chad Bishop (Jennifer), Vanessa Bishop, Kevin Bishop (Erica), Le Ann Toth (Mark) and Kenneth Bishop (Logan). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zanesville Church of Christ, 4900 W. Pike Zanesville, OH 43701 or by a drop box at the funeral home.
