He was predeceased by: his parents, Conard Newell and Frances Newell (Welsh); his wife Alberta Newell; his siblings, George, Gene, Lewis, John, Dwayne, Dwight, Mary and Velma; and his sons, Conard "Bob" and Harold Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Gerald Newell (Joan) of Zanesville; his sons, Mark Newell (Tina) of Zanesville and John Newell; and his grandchildren, Candra Mahlke (Mel), Dade Newell Sr., Stacy Evans, Tessa Tilton, Jason Newell (Crystal), Brandon Newell (Karen), Ryan Newell (Kay), Jordan Newell, Trisha Swihart (Aaron) and Rylee Newell. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil and Chute Funeral Home (714 Main St, Dresden, OH 43821). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
