He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Makhool-Mesre and Mary Makhool-Mesre; and his siblings, Mose Mesre, Nick Mesre, Herb Mesre, Yvonne Mesre, Josephine Mesre and Marguarite Mesre.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Mesre and Jodi Witte (Rich); his granddaughters, Anna Witte-Martin and Rachel Witte; and his close friend Joyce McInturf.
