Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dewy and Clara Croston (Norris); her husband Gabriel Weatherspoon Sr.; and her son Gabriel Weatherspoon Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Carman Rogers, Aaron Weatherspoon and Jonathan Weatherspoon; and her siblings, Leroy Croston and Juanita Croston. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
