It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Cable of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd C. Sims and Bessie Hartley Sims; her husband Wayne Delmer Cable; and her siblings, Leonard Sims, Amos Sims, Eddie Sims, Herb Sims and Norma Nicewanger.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Cable (Beth), Jane Barbour, Keith Cable and Cassie Barrett; her sister Louella Miles; and her grandchildren, Misty White (Nat), Shawn Cable (Lynsey), Shandy Mizer (Jason), Nicole Bookless, Luke Steed, Eric Cable, Brittany Blake, Kira Sullivan, Kyle Barrett and Breanna Donnely. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Christion Union Church (15331 Portie-Flamingo Rd, Corning, OH 43730).
