Bernard L. Emmert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard L. Emmert of Zanesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bernard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Emmert and Adelaide B. Emmert (Archer); and his brothers, Edward Emmert, Thomas Emmert, John Emmert and Larry Emmert.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerold Emmert (Judy) and David Emmert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Combs & Nestor Funeral Home (935 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 4:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (144 N 5th St, Zanesville, OH 43701).
