It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Mae Smith of Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Stratman and Melba Davis Stratman; her husband Larry Smith; her children, James Carl and Tamara Lee; and her siblings, Betty Slate, Rhea Murphy, Myron Stratman and Franklin Stratman.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Michelle Kang (Jim); her great grandchildren, Madison, Camden and Mackenzie Kang; her sister-in-law Flora Noland; and her close friend Juan Cano of Mexico. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rock Church (4200 Boggs Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alice's memory to The Rock Church, 4200 Boggs Rd. Zanesville, OH 43701. A donation basket will also be available at the service.
