He was predeceased by: his parents, Halley Ackley and Blanche Ackley (LeVan); his daughter Joyce Noel King; and his brothers, Robert and Albert Ackley.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ackley (Brookhart); his children, Dan Ackley (Tracey) of East Liberty, Lynn Gazda of Zanesfield and Anita Ackley of Bellefontaine; his son-in-law Landon King of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Katelyne, Hayden, Bradey, Micah Ackley, Tyler Sheeley (Alyssa), Noland King, Ivan King and Vance Kussman; his great grandchildren, Grant and Lauren Sheeley; and his siblings, Dave Ackley (Phyllis) of West Liberty and Shirley Applegate of Marysville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the East Liberty Fireworks Fund in care of the funeral home.
