He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Avery and Juanita Geraldine Black (Bradley). He is survived by: his children, Jeannette Gordon (James) and Curtis Black III (Becky); his stepchildren, Terry Bateman (Barb), Debi Whitehead (John) and Cyndi Campbell (Gabe Brown); his son-in-law John Campbell; and his stepsister Pat Harris. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
