It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Wayne Hoyd of Zaleski, Ohio, born in Vinton, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Hoyd and Eileen Miller Hoyd; his son Douglas Dean Hoyd; and his brothers, Paul, Charlie and Michael Hoyd.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Hoyd of Glouster, Jeanna Mayles of New Marshfield and Loretta Kniess of Columbus; and his siblings, Debrah Hoyd of Florida, Emerson Hoyd of Zaleski and Keith Hoyd of Glouster. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
