He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shirley Mae Heiney Doherty of McArthur and Glen Eugene Doherty; his wife Carolyn Carman Doherty; his daughters, Kelly Brown of Zaleski and Crystal Snyder (Anthony) of Dundas; his grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan and Kyndle Brown; and his siblings, Bill Doherty, Mike Doherty (April), Greg Doherty, Kenny Doherty (Loretta), Pam Gillman and Diane "Punky" Doherty. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
