He was predeceased by: his father Edward Young; and his wife Sandra J. Young (Soich). He is survived by: his mother Amber Mann; his stepfather John Evans; his children, Darnell West, Andree West, Leslie West, Xavier L. Young, Jr., Jermaine Edward Young and Kobe Young; and his siblings, Curtis Mann, Vincent Sherman, Edward Robinson, Tiki Davis, Asia Laury, Andre Laury, Stacey Cunningham of Columbus, OH and Shawn Green. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In place of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the family.
