With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie Delores Robinson of Youngstown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Willie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfonso; and her parents, Willie Smith and Tillie Childress Smith. She is survived by: her children, George Robinson of Youngstown, Terry A. Robinson (Althea) of Youngstown, Ricky Robinson of Youngstown, Lamont "Charlie" Robinson of Youngstown, Beverly Douglas of Centerville and Emery Robinson of Columbus. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and two great great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (827 Wilson Ave, Youngstown, OH 44506). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
