He was predeceased by: his former wife Judith Bradley Nitch; his son William Nitch Jr.; his parents, Frank Nitch and Margaret Nitch; and his sister Barbara Bushyager Fellers.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, William Duganne, Bradley Duganne, Charlie Queen and Sarah Queen; his wife Loretta Jacob; and his daughters, Kathleen Duganne (Douglas) and Sandra Queen (Robert).
