He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hardie and Evelyn Hardie (Parry); his granddaughter Emily Rose Hardie; his siblings, Janet McLaughlin, Gary and Robert Hardie; and his brother-in-law Butch Irwin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Prucnal; his sons, William J. Hardie of Zebulon, N. C. and Michael Hardie (Colleen) of Boardman; his siblings, Jean Irwin of Boardman, Sarah Hardie of Boardman, Debbie Damiano (Frank) of Boardman and James Hardie (Denise) of Poland; his brother-in-law Thomas McLaughlin; and his grandchildren, Michael, Brendan, Kevin and Jenna Hardie.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to All Caring Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Road B-101 Canfield, OH 44406.
