He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Garland and Irene Garland; his uncle John; and his aunt Grace Fusco. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Protain; his daughters, Katie Morris (Chad) and Sarah Serb (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Finley, Jude, Knox and Gabriel; and his siblings, Donna Gilkerson (Doug), Jeffrey Garland, Caroline Bryan (Doug) and John Garland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Of The Valley - Hospice House, in honor of Bill's legacy of kindness and generosity.
