As we bid Ulrike farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ulrike is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fanz and Matilda Fanz (Gibbert); her husband Walter Black; and her brother Mumford Fanz. She is survived by: her sons, Robert J. Black of Olympia, WA and Paul Black (Lori); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Ryan Black; and her sister Regina Carrol. She is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
