He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephus Rutledge Sr. and Nellie Rutledge; his wife Eloise McGary-Rutledge; and his son Marques Butler. He is survived by: his children, Tiara Rutledge, Timothy Rutledge II and Marquis Butler; his siblings, Josephine Moses (Steve), Carol Finley, Theresa Rutledge of Josephus Rutledge, JI, Maggie Rutledge, Deborah Logan (Derrick), Robin Rutledge and Robinette Felder; and his grandson Logan Rutledge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church (1210 Himrod Ave, Youngstown, OH 44506). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
