She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Scarsella and Mary Grace Scarsella (Canacci); her daughters, Concetta and Connie Kushma (Dale) of Scarsella's Restaurant; her sister Vicki Battista (Felix); her sons, John Kozar (Melissa) and Joe Kozar (Toni); her former husband Marino Pettorelli; her sons, Anthony and Louis Pettorelli; and her sister Connie Massaro (Mario).
She is survived by: her husband Leon J Kozar; her son Joseph; her grandchildren, Dale Kushma, Sean Kushma (Stephanie), Maureen LaCivita (Robert), Jessica, Gianna, Joseph Kozar, Ave, John Morgan, Max and Christopher Kozar; and her great grandchildren, Maria and Michael LaCivita.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home (4221 Market St, Youngstown, OH 44512). Viewing was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Charles Church (7345 Westview Dr, Boardman, OH 44512). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be sent in her name to St. Charles Church at 7345 Westview Dr., Boardman, Ohio 44512.
