She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Basil Daugherty and Mildred Daugherty (Price); her children, Renee Girton (David) of Lake Milton, Bonny Hemphill (Alan) of North Jackson, Jennifer Lutes and Roderick H. Lutes Jr. (Kim) of Lake Milton; her siblings, Gilbert Daugherty of Destin, Babs Kriedler of Columbus, Harry Daugherty of Toledo and Doris Waller of Austintown; and her husband Roderick H. Lutes Sr.. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
