We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 86, Ruth N. Woodard of Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence J. D. and Jessie Mae Powell North; her husband Franklin; her daughter Vickie M. North; and her siblings, Alton, Jesse C., Richard, Hallie, Yvette North and Mary Jo Hudson.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Woodard-Harris (Ewald) of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Corey T. North, Sr. of Youngstown, Ewald Jerry Harris III (Tacarra) of Columbus, Lesley M. North of Forth Worth, Frankie C. North of Youngstown and Jenna M. Phillips (Thomas) of Youngstown; her great grandchildren, Corey T. North, Jr., De'lionel Edmonds Harris, Khary North, Dameer North, Mia M. North, Mya J. Philips and Thomas E. Phillips, Jr.; her great great grandchild Corey T. North III; and her siblings, Shirley Benton of Austintown and Eric C. North of Findlay.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p. m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
