With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy L. Simmons of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Guys, Tennessee, who passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Decota Simmons and Mary Ethel Simmons; his siblings, Decota, Jr., Robert, Clyde, Genetta Barnett (Clay), Magnolia and Katherine Jones; and his brother-in-law Andy Hodges.
He is survived by: his wife Elois Agnew; his children, Enosha Simmons, Merald D. Simmons (Terri) and Joseph N. Simmons (Tiffiny); his grandchildren, Austin, Nyla, Morgan and Lauryn; his siblings, Fred (Josephine), Thomas (Diane), Leroy (Virginia), Charles (Lois), Ray and Lou E Hodges; and his sisters-in-law, Donna and Mary. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, his children and grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, guest are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing.
