It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McRae (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McRae and Susie Jackson McRae; and his siblings, Lowell, Raymond Jr., Donald, Evelyn Mullins, Mildred Watson, Annie Brown, Geraldine Minter, Dorothy McRae, Winifred, Albert, Irma and William.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Butler, Gwendolyn Weaver of Youngstown and Harold McRae of Chicago; and his caregiver Ramona Austin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a few very special friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lowell, Raymond Jr, Donald; sisters, Evelyn Mullins, Mildred Watson, Annie Brown, Geraldine Minter, Dorothy McRae; two of his siblings who died at birth, Winifred and Albert and two siblings, Irma and William, who died at the ages of 3 and 1 two weeks apart during the Pandemic of 1918-1921.
