He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Cappitte and Joyce M. Thorensen Cappitte; and his granddaughter Serenity Butler. He is survived by: his wife Terri Wallace Cappitte; his children, Sherri Lynn Santiago (Ralph) of Youngstown, Robert M. Cappitte of Youngstown and Christie M. Butler of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Jaden, Justice Santiago, Leia, Jada West, DeMarco, Kailani, Naomi and Hakeem Butler; his great grandchild Ra'Mello; and his sister Beatrice Arnold of Youngstown. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins.
