She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gaines and Marie Moore Gaines; her husband Eddie L.; and her siblings, Lettie C. Clark, May Lizzie Sheppard, Vernita Oliver, Myrtle Ross, Cleveland Gaines, Joseph Gaines, Hayford Nathaniel Gaines and Benjamin Gaines.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria D. Martin (Lester Jr.) of Howland and Gwendolyn J. Griggs (Damon) of Boardman; her sister Annie Ruth Toombs of Camilla, Georgia; her grandchildren, Alicia Martin, Stefani Stubbs and Cameron Stubbs; her half-sister Bonnie Tolbert of Hudson; her siblings-in-law, Julius "Bill" Lumpkin (Dora), Antonio "Tony" Lumpkin, Hettie Mae Jackson, Claretha Saffold, Almaree Laster (David), Portia Harvey, Rosetta Lumpkin, Oria Lumpkin, Juanita Lumpkin and Shirley Griffin; and her sister Patricia Robinson.
Celebration of Life services will follow at 11:00 a. m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
