Richard S. Posivak Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Richard S. Posivak of Youngstown, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephan Posivak and Elizabeth Suhovecky Posivak. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Palko Posivak; his daughter Tamara Zedaker (Ray E.) of Hubbard; and his granddaughter Rachel Bendekovich (Joseph III) of Hubbard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (477 N Meridian Rd, Youngstown, OH 44509). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Rich's family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mahoning Valley Old Car Club Children's Fund in care of the family.
