He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McCarthy and Lou A. McCarthy (Peterson); and his wife Marguerite E. (Ward). He is survived by: his children, Katherine McCarthy, Dorothy Kala, Richard W. McCarthy (Lauren) and Daniel McCarthy (Sheila); and his brother Charles. He is also survived by his four children; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
