It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Leon Lockhart Burney of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice Burney; and his daughter Nakkia Calhoun. He is survived by: his wife Raya Denise Parr Burney; his daughter Ra'Mishia O. A. Burney; his stepchildren, Danielle Sherese and Charles Michael; his grandchildren, Nehemiah, D'Marion, Trey and Charlie; his sisters, Louise Pate (Wayne) and Rochelle Burney-Bridges; and his nephew Jason Pate. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
