He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sandine and Gloria Mayer Sandine; his siblings, Deborah Sandine and Mark Sandine; and his sister-in-law Catherine Squillace.
He is survived by: his friend Bill Ritter; his wife Susan E. Squillace Sandine; his children, Sheila E. Sandine and Ralph J. Sandine II (Amy); his grandchildren, Rocco, Vivian and Vada Sandine; and also, Vincent Squillace, Maripat Kwaczala (Emil), Michael Squillace (Teri) and Deborah Park (Steven). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cardinal Mooney Scholarship Fund.
