He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Vasko and Helen Vasko (Cherney); his former wife Elaine Vasko (Hanis); his stepson Stephen Barko; his brother Bobby Vasko; and his brothers-in-law, Gerry DeFabio and Eddie Kerekes.

He is survived by: his wife Gerry Vasko (Brienza); his children, Diane Luke (James) of Xenia, Clifford Vasko of Centerville, Karen Humphries (Brian) of Hillsboro, Jonathan Vasko (Bridget) of South Euclid, Matthew Vasko of Sherman Oaks, CA, Melissa Winnestaffer (Gregg) of Huron, Sarah Park (Peter) of Wilmington, Alison Wilson (Sean) of Xenia and Anthony Vasko of Breckenridge, Coloardo; his stepchildren, Bob Barko, Jr. of Youngstown and Kerry Geraci (Tony) of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Elena Wright, Valentina Buchanan, Anastastia, Mariana, Jacinta, Charlie Luke, Sean, Marissa, Jonah, Ethan, Zachary Humphries, Maeve, Patrick Vasko, Lucas, Ava, Mya, Eden Winnestaffer, Frances, Thomas, Elizabeth, Hannah, Celine, Jacob, Zelie Park, Sarah, Lucy, JohnPaul, Cecilia, Daniel, Baby Wilson and Nicholas Geraci; his siblings, Mick Vasko (Diane), Tommy Vasko (Veronica), Monica DeFabio and Claudia Hritz (Rob); and his siblings-in-law, Gary Brienza, Rosemary Roberto (Paul), Ginny Kerekes, Betty Jane Nowac and Nancy Mathews (Ken). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
