He was predeceased by: his parents, Petros Zafirides and Kyriakoula Zafirides; and his wife Katherine. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Peter Zafirides (Sophia) of Columbus, Ohio and Rea Eucker (Jon) of Howland, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Alexys, Elly, Panos, George and Catherine.
