He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Richardson; his brothers, Freddie Hamilton and Chester Richardson; his stepsons, Marcus and LaJuan Watson; and his grandparents, Minnie Anderson, Julia Benjamin, Percy Lett, Sr. and Marion Anderson.
He is survived by: his father Ollie J. Richardson, Sr.; his wife Rose; his children, Catrina Richardson of Texas, Nisha Green (Donald) of California, Stacey Smith (Deangelo) of Youngstown, Alex Richardson of Youngstown, Tesha Montgomery (Ted) of Texas, Roy Austin, Jr., Steve Watson of California and Chauntie Watson (Francis Gibbs); and his siblings, Diane Hall of California, Sharon Kay Muldrow, Gloria Blackmon (David), Claudette Richardson-Clinkscales (Gregory D. Richardson), Valerie Fleetion (Ricky) of Reynoldsburg, Rosalind Ratliff of Whitehall, Randall K. Richardson of Youngstown and Minnie L. Erkard (Willie Matthew). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
