She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Heckman and Mary Heckman (Gibson); her husband William R. Scott Sr.; her children, Patricia Woodly (Ralph), Mary Alberta Scott, David L. Scott, William R. Scott Jr., Roger Scott, Gary L. Scott and Linda Sue Burkholder; and her sister Betty Shutt.

She is survived by: her sisters, Darlene Schearer and Ann Busshaus. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
