He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Matune and Ida Matune of Youngstown, Ohio.; his sister Mary Jane; and his granddaughter Hannah. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his brothers, Paul and Timothy Matune (Joann); his children, Jennifer Smith (John), Julie Quick and Michael Matune (Tyler); and his grandchildren, Sam, Miranda, Eric, Michael, Rebecca, Laura, Katie, Levi, Johnny, Alexis, Robert, Mikey, Mallory, Riley and Kaiya.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mike's memory.
