He was predeceased by: his godparents, David and Delores Kelley; and his grandmother Beard. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Kelley and Marjorie Kelley (Beard); his children, Anne M. Kelley and David M. Kelley; his wife Alicia Kelley; his siblings, Barb Dwyer (Bob), Donna Fahey (Bill), Greg Kelley (Pattie) and Tom Kelley; and his uncle Bernie Kelley (Shirley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In addition, he had been a member and past president of the Poland Rotary Club, where he lead events like the Chili Open Golf Classic and the Chili Open Sports Auction to raise money for charity.
