It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Hosa (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hosa and Mary Elizabeth Scheetz Hosa; and his sister Janet Hosa. He is survived by: his sister Carol Cibock (Dan); his niece Janelle Bartholomy (Paul); his nephew Benjamin Cibock; his great-nephew Aiden Bartholomy; and his former spouse Chris Verostko.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the St. Dominic Church (77 E Lucius Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Dominic Church (77 E Lucius Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (248 S Belle Vista Ave, Youngstown, OH 44509).
