He is survived by: his parents, Gollin Freeman and Dianetta Butler-Payne; his daughter Shealla Myers; his grandson Ezekiah LaCivita of Columbus Ohio; his close friend D'Juana Simpson (DJ) of Cleveland Ohio; his siblings, Kim Ellis, Mark Butler of Youngstown Ohio, James of Youngstown Ohio, Byrd Payne (Yolanda) of Youngstown Ohio and Ernest Jackson of Cleveland Ohio; his child Keyonna Slaughter (Rodney Sr) of Warren Ohio; his niece Ashley Payne of Youngstown Ohio; and his close friend Neatrice Lewis of Warren Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
