It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Lue Brown of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Ward, Alabama, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Frank and Mamie Gregg Brown; his sons, Tommy and Emanuel Brown; his siblings, Joe, Clem, David, Jessie, Vester, Rose Brown, Lucy Sheffield, Hattie Bishop, Eula Denson and Beatrice Lawson; his grandchildren, Garrick Willis, Eric Farmer, Aliya Nuby and Antwan Daye; and his great grandchild Taquan Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tidmore; his children, Shirley Brown Willis (Kenneth), Brenda Brown Nuby (Randall), Eleanor Brown, Gregory Brown (Debbie), Carol Brown, Janice Brown Cooper (Darrell) and Joyce Brown; and his brother Edgar Charles Brown. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will follow at 10:00 a. m. Guests are asked to wear masks.
