It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maryann Vandetti of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Socak and Anna Scrbek Socak; her husband Walter Rocco Vandetti; her adoptive father Michael Durkin; and her siblings, Dorothy Trafan, Rosemary Levine, JoAnn Beshara, Paul, Robert and Joseph Socak.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Lee Duffy (William) and Gary Walter Vandetti; her granddaughter Meredith Veronica Duffy (Joseph Kent Jr.); her brother-in-law Earl Levine; her caregivers, Jeri and Jen; and also, Stacey Durkin, Grace, Lily, Nancy Sabella, Debbie Musser and Hermie Harper.

She also was a member of the Epileptic Foundation where she volunteered.
