With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Redd (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on November 8, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Johnson and Clara Jones; her sons, Timothy J. Redd and Vincent Redd Sr.; and her siblings, Preston Johnson, Johnnie Johnson, Emanuel Johnson, James Johnson, Clara Shaw, Lillie Johnson, Willie Moss, Jessie St. Clair, Mattie Mae Appleberry and Ever Evans.

She is survived by: her husband Jay Andrew Redd Sr.; and her children, Johnothen E. Redd of Austintown, Donna Jean Taylor (Rubey) of Youngstown and Gwendolyn Redd of Youngstown. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren and host of relatives and friends.
