It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Crum (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Orel Cox and Lennie Maxwell Cox; and her sister Sally Cox Bell. She is survived by: her husband James Crum Jr.; her children, Tyrone Crum, Lucinda Morgan and James Shawn Crum; her siblings, Irma Washington, Lenora Cox, Rachel Brown, Nathaniel Cox and Phillip Cox; her goddaughter Charreia Penson; and her grandchildren, Shatiqua Lyons (Brandon), Sasha Berry (Ronald), Craig Womack, Shatara Johnson (Miles), Jamesa, Sahara, Jamirah, Chauntice, Chauntiea and James Dale Jr.. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
